    Nice, but the player won’t show up on my front page, where my post starts, but only when one goes to the separate page where the full post resides: see “Rep Issa”…on my front page. Any way to make it show on the front page as well?

    @Nathan – can you share with me this blog’s url?

  3. Houston SEO on: Sep 3 2009

    @Nathan – this plugin was designed for static post/pages. If you want to add a video on your homepage you should be able to do that via a sidebar widget.

    @Nathan – check this out, http://wordpress.tv/2009/01/12/adding-a-widget-to-your-sidebar/

    When i first installed this plugin it worked great. Now when i switch pages the youtube video stays the same.

    Any ideas what causes this problem?

  6. Houston SEO on: Sep 6 2009

    @phil – it should work fine if you load a different video at the bottom of each page/post.

    Thats what i mean – i had a different video loaded for each post, but it keeps showing the same one. I have since switched to having the videos load in the post/page rather than in the widget, and it seems to be OK, though its not what i wanted ideally. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin. so for now its working.

    Is it possible to add a code onto the template (i.e or something) instead of using the widgets option? editing the template has a better result for me. Thx

    Nice, but it does not work for YouTube channels, only for single video’s? Or am I missing a clue?

    Hope you don’t take it as a complaint, as I really appreciate everyone who makes plugins and shares them.

    @paula – the plugin was designed for single videos only. Perhaps the next version will include channels.

    @Ana – you can also embed video in post/page content area. Will that not accomplish what you are looking for?

    NEVER MIND – I figured it out – as you said, you need to use the EMBED URL for YouTube, not the normal URL… THANKS – IT WORKS PERFECT!
